Highest team played on: The 1sts...particularly the team of '97, they were extremely high!!
Best captain played under: Without doubt the late , great Heno Garvey. Rest in Peace Gretzky
Whats the one thing you do if you we're president for life: Start digging! Yes, make an underground cricket pitch!!! Considering the weather that goes on in an Irish Summer, I reckon it would be the way forward.
Also bring back the old snugs in the bar. Where is one meant to sleep these days??
Favourite Tipple: Chateau Guinness, the 1999 vintage. It was sensational down da Broke :)
JD & Coke also has its moments...as do shots(except Tequila!)
Highest Score in a match: 88
Best Bowling figures: 8-16
Best cricketing memory: Hmmm, running out some Rush looser on the last ball to relegate them from Section A!
Sneaky 72 against The Hills in '99 cup final(I can also tell you this was Paul Mooneys and Mick Dwyers favorite innings, they told me so in a very nice way!!)
Bowling Derrick Vincent for a Golden Duck(it was so slow it hardly knocked the bail off!!)
Anytime watching The Whizz cause mayhem with the ball.
Worst cricketing moment: Losing to Merrion off last ball in Lewis Traub final in '99!
Funniest cricketing moment: There are many... 1) JD bowling a bouncer in a bowl out! 2) Any of JD's 1st overs 3) All of the above mentioned in Best Cricketing Memory! 4) Seeing Hendo Wallace steamroll Luke Jackson, poor fella couldnt remeber a thing of his day...or night, but that was for diffrent reasons 5) Colin Dempseys verbal abuse of some fine gent form North County! 6) Me sliding into the rail at the boundry at Phoneix, whizzed off in an Ambulance..all the while Kenny Hope puking in the changing rooms(both incidents can be linked to an outragoues night in The Broke / Chez Clissmanns) 7) Anytime watching Cha keep when the Whizz bowling!
Favourite innings: Ed Dwyers 4* off 76 balls!!
Favourite international cricketer: Nialler and Roger
Best teas in Ireland: Browns in Sandymount
Favourite ground: To play,The Broke and Allan Border Oval
To watch, SCG, North Sydney Oval and Clontarf
Toys out of the pram award: Where do you start. JD, Louis, Ro Malin(word of warning, never drop a catch when this fella is bowling!)Fossie from Railway
A short summary of me as a player: Seam bowler who loves to throw in the odd quicker ball!...and loves to go in and have a blast with the bat. Slicing and hoiking my specialities!
